Das Stranggussverfahren ist das modernste Verfahren zur kontinuierlichen Produktion von Rohren, Stangen und Profilen. Die Schmelze erfährt in wasser- gekühlten, kupferummantelten Graphitkokillen ihre Formgebung. Ein regelmäßiger Gefügeaufbau ist der Garant für die guten mechanischen Eigenschaften dieser Produkte, die sich gleichzeitig durch eine sehr geringe Bearbeitungszugabe auszeichnen.
The continuous casting process is the most modern process for the continuous production of tubes, rods and sections. The melt undergoes its shaping in water-cooled copper-coated graphite chills.
A regular structural composition guarantees the good mechanical properties of these products which are, at the same time, characterised by a very small machining allowance.
